Inter Cars honoured with ESG Eagles 2025 award

Inter Cars was awarded the prestigious Eagles ESG 2025 award by the Rzeczpospolita newspaper. The award recognises companies and institutions for their contribution to sustainability, climate protection and responsible management.
During the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice, a gala was held, during which awards were presented. The judging panel primarily assessed measures for sustainable development, climate protection and responsible management. The evaluation criteria also included climate issues, wages, worker safety and respect for consumer rights.
The award for Inter Cars was given for the implementation and execution of the parts remanufacturing programme, a key element of the company's sustainability strategy. In the justification for the verdict, it was emphasised that remanufacturing of parts is an economic benefit and a real contribution to the protection of the planet, while through innovative solutions Inter Cars promotes remanufactured products and builds confidence in their quality. The cooperation with Inter Cars Group's Lauber sp. z o.o., a leader in the remanufacturing of parts in Central and Eastern Europe, in turn confirms our commitment to responsible production. In awarding the distinction, the core return levels reported by Inter Cars from 2023 onwards were also indicated and represent one of the indicators of sustainable financing of the Inter Cars Group, .
Jacek Piotrowiak, Managing Director for Corporate and Legal Affairs, responsible for sustainability at Inter Cars, receiving the award, said: "There has been a lot of talk recently about low- and zero-emission transport, even though such does not yet exist. The biggest emissions are generated by the production of new vehicles, so it makes sense to maintain and extend the life cycle of both private cars and company fleets. By remanufacturing parts, emissions can be reduced by at least 70 per cent compared to producing new parts. I am glad that the editors of “Rzeczpospolita” newspaper have recognised the importance of the remanufacturing segment in sustainable development".
