Inter Cars celebrates its 35th anniversary
The year 2025 is a special moment for Inter Cars - one of the largest automotive parts distributors in Europe. The company is celebrating its 35th anniversary, from its foundation in 1990 by Krzysztof Oleksowicz, Piotr Oleksowicz and Andrzej Oliszewski to its position as an industry leader in Central and Eastern Europe.
From its humble beginnings in a garage in Warsaw's Wola district, Inter Cars has grown steadily and is now present in 21 European markets, supplying parts for all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, agricultural vehicles and special machinery. This success has been made possible thanks to the commitment of its employees, the trust of its customers and partners, and the constant search for innovation.
To mark the anniversary, the company is planning a number of initiatives, including events for customers, employees and business partners. Industry conferences, competitions and promotional events are also planned throughout the year to highlight the importance of long-term business relationships and summarise the company's key achievements.
- 2025 is a very special time for us. We want to celebrate it with our customers and business partners, so we will be announcing more initiatives throughout the year to tie in with the anniversary celebrations. We are not slowing down. We are investing in new technologies, analysing market needs and responding to them. We want to be even closer to our customers and provide them with everything they need to grow. This was the intention of my father and the other founders 35 years ago, and this is how we want to act today and in the future, says Maciej Oleksowicz, CEO of Inter Cars SA.
Future logistics and innovative solutions
Inter Cars is currently present in 21 markets and operates through a network of over 600 branches. Modern logistics centres, managed by ILS, are one of the company's most important assets. In 2023, the company carried out more than 150,000 transports within Poland and 60,000 international transports, demonstrating its operational efficiency.
Investment in modern technology culminated in 2024 with the implementation of the innovative Skypod® system at the ILS European Logistics and Development Centre in Zakroczym. This is the first installation of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe and has enabled the company to significantly increase automation, streamline picking processes and improve warehouse efficiency.
